The invention discloses an active lime calcining system. The active lime calcining system comprises a stock bin, a rotary kiln and a cooling device, wherein the stock bin is connected to a preheater,the preheater is connected to a kiln tail box of the rotary kiln, a kiln head box of the rotary kiln is connected to a first burner, an air inlet of the first burner is connected to a combustion-supporting air supply device; and the first burner is further connected to a fuel pipe used for allowing low heat value gas to flow in; the kiln head box of the rotary kiln is connected to the cooling device through a discharging channel, the cooling device is further connected to the kiln head box through a secondary air pipe, and therefore waste heat gas in the cooling device can flow into the kiln head box; and the preheater is further connected to a second burner, an air inlet of the second burner is connected to the kiln head box, and the second burner is also connected to a fuel pipe used forallowing the low heat value gas to flow in. According to the active lime calcining system, the low heat value gas can be completely used as fuel, so that the low heat value gas is effectively applied, the environmental pollution and heat energy resource waste caused by direct emission of the low heat value gas are avoided, and the calcining energy consumption and cost of the active lime can be reduced.
