A device for looping parallel steel wire strands of main cable for suspension bridge comprises arc plates, adjusting rods, a rolling bearing, a vertical shaft, an upper shaft sleeve, lower fixing claws, base plates, a tray, adjusting plates, a thrust bearing, a shaft sleeve, a large gear, a speed reducer, a lower shaft sleeve, a small gear, a motor and a riding wheel. The upper shaft sleeve is installed on the outer side of the vertical shaft at the upper end of the tray and the lower end of the upper shaft sleeve is installed on the shaft sleeve; the rolling bearing is arranged between the vertical shaft and the shaft sleeve, the plurality of base plates are evenly fixed on the circumference of the upper end of the tray, an arc plate is fixed on each base plate and is parallel to the vertical shaft, and the radian of the outer periphery of each arc plate is the same as that of the circumference of a supporting plate; one end of each adjusting rod is fixed to the center of the corresponding arc plate, close to the upper end of the art plate; the other end of each adjusting rod is fixed to the corresponding position of the upper shaft; one ends of the lower fixing claws are installed on the two sides close to the lower ends of each arc plates; the two sides, close to the lower end of the upper shaft sleeve, of the base plates are each provided with an adjusting plate, and the other ends of the lower fixing claws are inserted into the adjusting plates. The device can adjust looping diameter of parallel steel wire strands of a main cable.
