The invention relates to the technical field of structural engineering, in particular to a steel structure connecting node. The steel structure connecting node comprises a steel column and a steel beam, wherein the steel beam is connected with the steel column through a node base and a node top cover, and shear bolts are arranged between the steel beam and the node top cover; damping cylinders arearranged in the node base and are movably hinged to the steel beam through connecting arms, and disc springs are arranged between every two adjacent damping cylinders as well as between the damping cylinders and the node base; and the steel beam shakes from left to right in an earthquake, the damping cylinders are driven to move up and down, and the disc springs are stretched or compressed in theup-and-down moving process of the damping cylinders, so that the disc springs can be matched with the damping cylinders so as to consume earthquake energy. According to the steel structure connectingnode, the shear bolts, the damping cylinders and the disc springs are matched with one another, so that triple energy consumption measures are formed, the earthquake resistance capacity of the node is greatly increased while the connecting strength of the node is guaranteed, and the safety and reliability of a building are guaranteed.
