The construction method comprises the following steps that 1, the externally-wrapped multi-cavity steel plate concrete composite shear wall is constructed; 2, the top of the shear wall is covered with a top steel plate, and the top steel plate and the top of the shear wall are sealed; 3, a vacuumizing device is adopted for pumping air in the steel plate and the shear wall, and the vacuumizing state is kept for at least preset time; 4, the vacuumizing device is closed and moved away, the top steel plate is opened, and laitance on the surface of concrete in the shear wall is removed; and 5, the steps 1 to 4 are repeated according to a preset construction scheme. According to the construction method, the closed space formed by combining the shear wall and the top steel plate is vacuumizedthrough the vacuumizing device, so that the pressure in the shear wall is reduced, bubbles in concrete in the shear wall are slowly moved upwards out of the concrete surface, the concrete is filled more fully, the compactness of the concrete is guaranteed, and the void rate of the steel-concrete joint surface is reduced.
