The invention relates to a safety protection device suitable for the radiology department. The safety protection device comprises a protection door frame, a protection door body and a safety protection mechanism, the protection door body is connected with the protection door frame, and the safety protection mechanism is arranged on the protection door body. The safety protection mechanism comprises a protection locking assembly, a protection unlocking assembly and a secondary unlocking assembly. The protection locking assembly is used for locking the protection door body and the protection door frame. The secondary unlocking assembly locks the protection unlocking assembly on the protection door body or unlocks the protection unlocking assembly from the protection door body. The protectionunlocking assembly in the unlocking state drives the protection locking assembly, so that the protection door body and the protection door frame are unlocked. According to the safety protection device suitable for the radiology department, unlocking and opening of a door of the radiology room have certain complexity, and radiation caused by misoperation for opening the door of the radiology roomis prevented; and meanwhile, unlocking and opening of the door of the radiology room are not too complex to influence the detection efficiency.
