The invention relates to a special-shaped sliding cage for mounting a cornice outer plate of a steel structure. The cage comprises a cage body; the cage body comprises square steel pipes and round steel; the square steel pipes are vertically arranged at intervals; the round steel is horizontally arranged between the adjacent square steel pipes and fixedly connected with the square steel pipes; thetop of the cage body is fixedly connected with a reinforcing device; the reinforcing device comprises a first fixing rod, a first roller shaft arranged on the first fixing rod in a sleeving mode, a second fixing rod and a second roller shaft arranged on the second fixing rod in a sleeving mode; the first fixing rod and the second fixing rod are arranged in an L shape; the first fixing rod extendsin the direction away from the cage body; and the second fixing rod is detachably arranged on the lower surface of the first fixing rod and directly faces and is spaced from the first roller shaft. The cage has the effect of improving the high-altitude mounting efficiency of the roof truss cornice enclosing plate of the steel structure.
