The punning machine body comprises a mounting frame; the walking mechanism is fixedly connected with the bottom of the mounting frame; the information collecting mechanism comprises an image acquirer; the image acquirer ismounted over the rear end of the mounting frame; the technical problems that in the prior art, due to the fact that the needed punning force cannot be judged by observing the ground flatness, stress is uneven during punning, the service life of a punning block is seriously affected, the punning quality is poor, the working time is prolonged, the economic cost is increased, and existing requirements cannot be met are solved. The invention further provides a using method of the punning device for highway construction, highway punning construction is conducted through the using method, the working time can be saved, and the economic cost is reduced.
