The invention belongs to the field of height limiting frames, and particularly relates to an adjustable height limiting frame for road construction. A first cross beam and a second cross beam which are in threaded connection are fixedly mounted at the tops of two top vertical plates of a mounting seat respectively, and adjusting blocks are fixedly mounted at the sides, away from each other, of thetwo vertical plates; lead screws in threaded connection with driving blocks are rotationally installed on the inner walls of the bottoms of the adjusting blocks, rotating pieces are fixedly installedon the sides, close to each other, of the two driving blocks, and the two rotating pieces penetrate through the inner walls of the sides, close to each other, of the two adjusting blocks and the sides, away from each other, of the two vertical plates correspondingly and extend to the sides, close to each other, of the two vertical plates correspondingly. The two lead screws are both in transmission connection with an adjusting assembly, and the sides, close to each other, of the two rotating pieces are rotationally provided with a first height limiting pipe and a second height limiting pipe which are provided with anti-collision assemblies correspondingly. The problems that an adjustable height limiting frame is not reasonable enough in design, cannot be suitable for roads of different sizes, and is damaged when the vehicle reaches the frame for mistake due to lack of a buffering device are solved.
