The invention discloses cutting equipment for excavating a pipe ditch in a rock foundation. The cutting equipment comprises a track and a rock cutting device, wherein the rock cutting device is in sliding fit with the track, the sliding direction of the rock cutting device is limited by utilizing the track, and the pipe ditch with a stepped side wall is cut on a rock by utilizing the rock cuttingdevice. According to the cutting equipment, the track is matched with the rock cutting device, the pipe ditch cut in the rock foundation is high in size precision, compared with crushing, vibration issmall, disturbance to the rock foundation is small, noise is low, labor is saved during operation of workers, and operation is easy; and the side wall of the cut pipe ditch is in a step shape, so that the excavation volume and a backfill material are few, and the construction cost is greatly saved.
