The invention discloses a novel building construction ladder with high safety, and relates to the field of building construction. The novel building construction ladder comprises main supporting rods,wherein connecting rods which are uniformly distributed up and down are arranged between the main supporting rods. According to the novel building construction ladder, a placing block and the main supporting rods are arranged, so that the placing block and the main supporting rods of the ladder are inserted into the upper end of a construction building needing to be climbed from top to bottom; inthe clamping process, the edge of the building is in contact with the inclined surface of a moving block, so that the edge of the building enters the space between the placing block and the main supporting rods; if the clamped building is cylindrical or arc-shaped, the building is completely clamped to the main supporting rods and the interior of the placing block to be attached to an upper fixing groove and a lower fixing groove; and if the clamped building is a plane building edge, the building is clamped between the main supporting rods and a positioning plate, the positioning plate is provided with a friction block to be better attached to the building plane, so that the ladder can be well attached to buildings with different shapes, and the safety of the device is effectively improved.
