CHROMIA-BASED BRICK
To provide a chromia-based brick having excellent corrosion resistance and thermal spalling resistance. Specifically, to provide a chromia-based brick which is suitable for use in sites which requirecorrosion resistance in a waste melting furnace, iron making equipment, an organic gasifier, or a glass melting furnace. [Solution] A brick containing chromia according to the present invention comprises: 70-95 mass% of Cr2O3; 0.5-15 mass% of ZrO2; 0.4-4.0 mass% of P2O5 derived from phosphoric acid which is compounded as a raw material; no more than 10 mass% of Al2O3; a sintering aid; and unavoidable impurities.
