An automatic traffic cone placing vehicle relates to the technical field of traffic cone placing vehicles and comprises a vehicle body which is provided with an anti-collision buffer device, a deceleration strip folding and unfolding device, a traffic cone storage device, a traffic cone folding and unfolding device and a traffic cone dislocation recovery device. The deceleration strip winding andunwinding device comprises two suspension arms which are arranged in a face-to-face and opposite-swinging mode, clamping jaws which are arranged in a rotating mode are arranged on the suspension armsin a telescopic mode, and the deceleration strip is clamped through the clamping jaws which are arranged in the rotating mode. The problems that in the prior art, traffic cones are placed and recycledmanually or in a manual and semi-automatic mode, the operation speed is low, and more importantly, the safety of constructors and construction equipment cannot be guaranteed are solved.
