The invention discloses a traffic height limiting device which comprises a supporting assembly, a lifting mechanism and a height limiting assembly. The supporting assembly comprises a supporting plate, and a channel is longitudinally formed in the supporting rod; the lifting mechanism comprises a motor, a worm, a worm gear, a rotating rod, a winding wheel and a pull rope; the height limiting assembly comprises a height limiting rod, and the height limiting rod slides up and down in the channel; the height limiting assembly is fixed to the supporting plate through the positioning assembly and connected with the lifting mechanism through a pull rope. The positioning assembly comprises a screw rod, a positioning rod and a pressing ring; a threaded sleeve is arranged on the screw rod, and thepositioning rod and the pressing ring fix the height limiting rod to the supporting plate through the threaded sleeve. The height limiting rod is synchronously driven to ascend and descend, and the height limiting rod is positioned through the positioning assembly, so that the height limiting rod is more stable and reliable in the moving process.
