The invention discloses a vehicle blocking roadblock with speed measurement and face recognition functions, and the roadblock comprises: a detection device which comprises a camera device used for photographing equipment and a radar device for speed measurement; a display device which is used for displaying the current vehicle speed; a processing device, wherein the detection device and the display device are electrically connected with the processing device respectively; and a vehicle stopping module which is used for executing vehicle stopping, wherein the vehicle stopping module is electrically connected with the processing device. In the using process, the camera device is used for shooting real-time images to capture a vehicle and personnel targets on the vehicle, the radar device isused for detecting the running distance and the current running speed of the vehicle in real time, and the running distance and the current running speed are transmitted to the processing device to beprocessed in real time, whether an interception means is adopted to intercept the vehicle is judged, and if the processing device obtains an interception decision through analysis, the vehicle blocking module is notified to intercept the vehicle.
