The invention discloses a smart city sidewalk traffic control device which comprises a first stand column, a second stand column and a third stand column, and the first stand column, the second standcolumn and the third stand column are sequentially and fixedly arranged on a roadbed from front to back. A sidewalk signal lamp is fixedly arranged at the top end of the third stand column; a first limiting mechanism is arranged between the first stand column and the second stand column; and a second limiting mechanism is arranged between the second stand column and the third stand column. According to the smart city sidewalk traffic control device, after a U-shaped rod is lifted, pedestrians and non-motor vehicles can be stopped so that a probability of red light running is effectively reduced, potential safety hazards are eliminated, and the pedestrians and the non-motor vehicles which do not completely pass through the sidewalk can pass through the space between the second stand columnand the third stand column; and therefore, the sidewalk traffic control device can operate reasonably so as to facilitate the arrangement of urban traffic.
