The invention relates to the technical field of water pollution treatment, and discloses an automatic garbage salvaging device capable of automatically contracting and extending. The automatic garbagesalvaging device comprises first rotary discs. Through the cooperative use of a third rotary disc, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod and a shell, aquatic plants can be automatically salvaged, so that the aquatic plants are more convenient to salvage, manually holding a long rod for salvaging is not needed, and time and effort are saved.
