The invention discloses a manufacturing method for a special waterproof blanket for a side slope. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps of S1, paving lower geotechnical cloth; S2, paving sodium bentonite layers uniformly on the lower geotechnical cloth; S3, covering sodium bentonite particles with upper geotechnical cloth; S4, fixedly connecting the lower geotechnical cloth, the sodium bentonite layers and the upper geotechnical cloth through a needle punching technology; and S5, spraying an anti-skid layer to the lower geotechnical cloth, wherein the geotechnical cloth and fibers clamped by the geotechnical cloth can be bonded to the anti-skid layer firmly. Thus, by arranging the anti-skid layer, a problem that the anti-skid performance in the prior art is poor is solved,the risk of slope instability is reduced, and meanwhile, the anti-puncturing performance and the peeling strength of the waterproof blank are further improved.
