The protective guard supporting column comprises a base, a stand column, two supportingrods, and two pressing rods; the stand column is arranged on the base and used for supporting a guardrail; the bottom ends of the two supporting rods are arranged at the two sides of the stand columnrespectively and both rotationally connected with the base; the two pressing rods are in one-to-one correspondence with the supporting rods; and the first end of each pressing rod is connected with the corresponding supporting rod through a first buffer mechanism, and the second end of each pressing rod is connected with the stand column through a second buffer mechanism to buffer external force impact so as to improve the anti-collision capacity of the guardrail. According to the protective guard supporting column and the house building construction protective guard, a side supporting force is provided for the stand column through the supporting rods and the pressing rods, so that the toppling of the guardrail is prevented; and external force impact is buffered through the first buffer mechanism and the second buffer mechanism, so that the anti-collision capacity and the protection capacity of the guardrail are improved, and then the stability and the protection effect of the guardrail are improved.
