The invention discloses an automatic cleaning type sliding window for an intelligent building. The automatic cleaning type sliding window comprises a mounting frame, wherein the mounting frame is arranged on a wall surface; a window body for sliding left and right is arranged in the mounting frame; transparent glass is mounted on the window body; a bottom cavity is formed in the window body; the bottom cavity is located below the transparent glass; a collection box is mounted at the bottom in the bottom cavity; a collection groove is formed in the upper end of the collection box; an adsorptioncavity is formed in the window body; the adsorption cavity is located between the transparent glass and the bottom cavity; and the inner top of the bottom cavity communicates with the inner bottom ofthe adsorption cavity through a plurality of through holes. According to the sliding window disclosed by the invention, dust on the outer side of the window glass can be cleaned under the illumination of the sun in the daytime, so that the accumulation of the dust on the glass is reduced; meanwhile, the cleaned dust is adsorbed through an adsorption mechanism; and when the device does not operateany more, the adsorbed dust falls into the collection groove and people can take out the collection box to treat the dust.
