The invention relates to the field of electric folding doors for garages, and particularly relates to an electric folding door for a garage. The electric folding door comprises door plates, a lower fixing frame, an upper fixing frame, a limiting mechanism, a moving mechanism, a pulling mechanism, a moving mechanism and a heat dissipation mechanism. Through the arrangement of the limiting mechanism, the situation that the door plates are separated from the lower fixing frame and cannot be used is avoided, and the use safety of the folding door is improved; through the arrangement of the movingmechanism, the friction force of the door plates during moving is reduced conveniently, and the noise of the door plates during moving is reduced; through the arrangement of the pulling mechanism, a plurality of door plates are automatically and quickly pulled conveniently and a garage door is not sealed any more, and thus a user drives an automobile into or out of the garage conveniently; throughthe arrangement of the moving mechanism, a sliding groove where the moving mechanism slides can be self-cleaned, so that the operation failure rate of internal parts is decreased; and through the arrangement of the heat dissipation mechanism, heat is quickly released for internal power parts conveniently, thus the power parts are maintained to work within a reasonable temperature range, and the service life of the power parts is prolonged.
