The embodiment of the invention provides a construction process of mechanical removal of lake float sludge. The construction process comprises the steps of pumping and draining a lake before construction; constructing main pavements on both sides of the lake, driving a land and water excavator into the lake from the main pavements after the water pumping and draining operation of the lake is completed, excavating a main drainage ditch which penetrates through the whole lake in the middle, and excavating a plurality of secondary drainage ditches perpendicular to the main drainage ditch; arranging water collecting wells on both ends of the main drainage ditch, and collecting seeping water of a sludge layer to the water collecting wells through the main and secondary drainage ditches and discharging out of the site; constructing a secondary pavement on one side of the secondary drainage ditches for common excavators and sludge transport vehicles to pass after the surface of the lake floatsludge is dried; and transporting the float sludge of which the surface is dried to the position near the secondary pavement in a partition formed by each main and secondary drainage ditch by the land and water excavator, loading and transporting the float sludge of which the surface is dried by the common excavators, and cleaning and transporting the float sludge of which the surface is dried toa predetermined place outside the construction site by the sludge transport vehicles. The construction process of mechanical removal of the lake float sludge has the advantages that the constructionperiod is obviously shortened, and the equipment investment is reduced.
