The embodiment of the invention provides a railway short roadbed which is arranged between a bridge and a tunnel, the tunnel comprises an inverted arch, the end, close to the railway short roadbed, ofthe inverted arch is provided with a step surface formed by sinking downwards, and the railway short roadbed comprises a bearing system. The bearing system comprises a replacement filling layer and astress layer arranged on the replacement filling layer, and one end, in the extending direction, of the stress layer extends into the tunnel and is fixedly connected to the step face in an overlappedmode. According to the railway short roadbed, the stability of the railway short roadbed can be greatly improved.
