Provided is a wall coating. The wall coating comprises a planar substrate with a front portion and a back portion opposite the front portion, and an adhesive layer covering the back portion of the substrate. The adhesive layer comprises a separate polymer layer formed from a polyvinyl alcohol polymer. The wall coatings, such as coatings in the form of pre-stickers, are readily reactivated when wetand do not have blocking properties, and meanwhile the coatings have sliding, adhesive and peelable properties.
