The invention discloses an electric roller shutter. The electric roller shutter comprises a main frame beam and a roller shutter body installed on the main frame beam, and the roller shutter body comprises a reel and curtain cloth wound on the outer side of the reel. The electric roller shutter further comprises a driving motor, the driving motor is arranged in the main frame beam or in the reel,the driving motor is used for driving the reel to rotate forwards or rotate reversely, and a battery assembly or a battery is detachably installed in the main frame beam and used for being connected with the driving motor to provide a power source for the driving motor. The battery of the electric roller shutter can be independently detached to be charged and can further be charged on the roller shutter, and the application range is wide.
