The invention relates to a structure for a translation type door and window. The structure for the translation type door and window comprises a frame base and at least one set of clamping frames capable of moving along the frame base; vacuum glass is connected with the interiors of the clamping frames; each clamping frame comprises a first clamping plate and a second clamping plate; each first clamping plate comprises a first straight plate part; a boss and a buckling groove are formed in the inner side of each first straight plate part; the buckling grooves are formed in one end of the innersurface of the straight plate parts; each second clamping plate comprises a second straight plate part; buckling grooves are also formed in the inner side of the second straight plate parts; the two groups of buckling grooves are oppositely formed; and the vacuum glass is arranged between the first clamping plates and the second clamping plates. The structure for the translation type door and window is simple in structure, convenient to operate, flexible to use and low in manufacturing cost, is suitable for various vacuum glass doors and windows of different thickness models through the arrangement of the standardized part clamping plates, greatly reduces the production cost and stock pressure, and is convenient to popularize and use.
