According to the method, a bump and a groove are formedin the two ends of the side face of a body respectively, a clamping block and a clamping groove are formed in the upper end face and the lower end face of the body respectively, through type positioning grooves are formed in the inner wall of the body, the outer wall of a positioning ring and the inner wall of the body are the same in corresponding diameter, a circle of annularly and uniformly distributed positioning strips are arranged on the outer wall of the positioning ring, the positioning strips are matched with the positioning grooves in shape, and when the side ends of the body are sequentially arranged to form an annular well wall, the positioning grooves in the body can be clamped with the positioning strips on the positioning ring respectively. By arranging the positioning ringmatched with the module brick for use, the tailing sand module brick produced through the method is more convenient and faster to construct, the construction difficulty of the tailing sand module brick is reduced, and meanwhile the construction efficiency and the construction quality of the tailing sand module brick are effectively improved.
