Upper cover damper and washing machine
The invention provides an upper cover damper and a washing machine. The upper cover damper comprises a pin shaft used for being connected with a hinge seat and a sleeve used for being connected with an upper cover, wherein one end of the pin shaft extends into the sleeve; a sliding block and an elastic piece are arranged in the sleeve; the sliding block is connected with the pin shaft; the elasticpieces at least comprise a first elastic piece and a second elastic piece which are different in elastic coefficient, one end of the first elastic piece abuts against the sliding block, the other endof the first elastic piece is connected with one end of the second elastic piece, and the other end of the second elastic piece abuts against the bottom wall of the sleeve; and the pin shaft can rotate relative to the sleeve to drive the sliding block to move relative to the sleeve in the axis direction of the sleeve, and therefore compression amount of the elastic piece is changed. In a descending process of the upper cover, the elastic piece can provide resistance, the descending speed of the upper cover is prevented from being too high, meanwhile, due to the fact that the elastic coefficients of the first elastic piece and the second elastic piece are different, the descending acceleration of the upper cover can be further reduced, and an operator is prevented from being injured by clamping due to too high speed of the upper cover.
