The invention relates to a temporary connecting structure for replacing a steel truss girder into a steel box girder, and a girder replacing method, and relates to the technical field of bridge maintenance and transformation. The temporary connecting structure is used for connecting a new girder section and an old girder section which have different section sizes. The temporary connecting structure is of a steel box structure and is divided into three sections, namely a new girder butt joint section, a transition section and an old girder butt joint section in sequence; the new girder butt joint section is provided with a new girder connector capable of being in uniform-section butt joint with the new girder section, and the new girder connector is detachably connected to the new girder section; and the old girder butt joint section is provided with an old girder connector capable of being in uniform-section butt joint with the old girder section, and the old girder connector is fixedly connected to the old girder section. The invention discloses a girder replacing method based on the temporary connecting structure. The new girder section and the old beam girder can be firmly connected, mounting and dismounting are convenient, and girder replacing construction is convenient.
