The invention discloses a slow release type buffer door stopper. The door stopper comprises a mounting box, wherein a cutting rod is connected to the inner bottom of the mounting box through a bufferspring, a sliding plate is fixed to the side wall of the cutting rod, the sliding plate penetrates through the side wall of the mounting box and is fixedly provided with an impact head, a heavy impactpower connection mechanism is arranged in the impact head, two symmetrically-arranged magnetic blocks are fixed to the inner wall of the mounting box, the mounting box is filled with magnetorheological fluid, a buffer cavity is formed in the bottom of the mounting box, and a buffer mechanism is arranged in the buffer cavity. The door stopper has the advantages that by arranging the buffer spring,when a door plate impacts the door stopper, impact energy is buffered through contraction of the buffer spring, the door plate is prevented from being damaged due to excessive impact, and by arranging the magnetic blocks and the cutting rod, the cutting rod moves in a magnetic field and is subjected to the reaction of magnetic field force, so that the buffer spring is subjected to the action of the magnetic field in the contraction process, the buffering capacity is further strengthened, and the door plate is combined with the door stopper more stably.
