The riverway floating garbage cleaning gate comprises a riverbank, a driving part, a garbage extracting part, a garbage assembling part, a garbage conveying part and a garbage collecting part, wherein two first sliding grooves are symmetrically formed in the riverbank, a first sliding block is arranged in each first sliding groovein a sliding mode, a first supporting plate is arranged between the two first sliding blocks, and a second supporting plate is arranged on the side, facing the water flow direction, of each first sliding block; the driving part is arranged on the side, back on to the water flow direction, of the first supporting plate and is driven by water flow to provide power; the garbage extracting part is arranged between the two second supporting plates and is used for upwards picking up and transferring the floating garbage in the riverway; the garbage assembling part is arranged at the position betweenthe garbage extracting part and the first supporting plate; the garbage conveying part is arranged on the upper side of the garbage assembling part; and the garbage collecting part is used for collecting garbage conveyed to the riverbank in a centralized manner.
