The invention provides a method and structure for improving the bearing capacity of a natural foundation. The structure comprises a foundation groove, a first supporting layer and a second supportinglayer, wherein the foundation groove is dug in the natural foundation, the first supporting layer is laid on the inner bottom surface of the foundation groove, the first supporting layer makes contactwith a soft underlying layer, the second supporting layer is arranged in the foundation groove, the first supporting layer and the second supporting layer are connected into a whole, the sectional area of the first supporting layer is larger than that of the second supporting layer, and the first supporting layer and the second supporting layer are manufactured through concrete pouring. The method and structure for improving the natural foundation bearing capacity has the beneficial effects that by arranging the first supporting layer and the second supporting layer which are formed by pouring the concrete, the bearing capacity of the natural foundation is greatly improved, and have the following advantages that 1, the problem of repeated soil backfilling is solved; 2, the use of a dynamic compactor is greatly reduced, and the construction cost is reduced; 3, the construction period is shortened, and the process requirements are improved; and 4, the construction efficiency is improved.
