The adjustable hanging system for the suspended ceiling comprises an auxiliary keel and a decorative face plate; the auxiliary keel and the decorative face plate are connected by a distance adjusting mechanism; the distance adjusting mechanism comprises a connecting base connected to the auxiliary keel, a sleeve with one end detachably connected to the connecting base, an inserting column with one end arranged in the sleeve in a sliding and penetrating mode, and a locking mechanism used for locking the sleeve and the inserting column; the sleeve is parallel to the inserting column; and the decorative face plate is connected to the end, located outside the sleeve, of the inserting column. The adjustable hanging system has the advantage that the living comfort is improved by adjusting the height of the suspended ceiling.
