The invention discloses a protection device for high-rise building construction. The device comprises a base; supporting plates are connected with the two sides of the top end of the base in a weldedmode; a guardrail is connected between the two supporting plates in a welded mode; elevators are fixedly connected with the inner walls of the supporting plates correspondingly; a protection mechanismis installed on the front end face of the base; the protection mechanism comprises two L-shaped plates connected with the front end face of the base in a welded mode; bearings are fixedly connected with the inner walls of the L-shaped plates; and a frame is rotatably connected between the two bearings. According to the protection device for high-rise building construction, under the action of theprotection mechanism, the frame can rotate through the bearings, and is mounted on the front end surface of the base; an operator can be prevented from falling during construction operation through aprotection net in the frame, and the protection net can catch the operator and a tool falling during operation, so that the tool can be prevented from falling to injure people, the safety of high-rise building construction is effectively guaranteed; and when the device is not used, the protection net can be folded and stored, so that no space is occupied.
