The invention relates to a production method of a magnesite-chrome brick. Iron oxide yellow and iron oxide blue are respectively added in the preparation processes of a common magnesite-chrome brick and a directly sintered magnesite-chrome brick, so that the finished brick has distinguishable different colors, the sintering temperature of the common magnesite-chrome brick is 1520-1580 DEG C, and the finished brick has a yellow color; the firing temperature of the directly sintered magnesite-chrome brick is 1680-1750 DEG C; and the finished brick has a blue color. The performance of the prepared magnesite-chrome brick meets the requirement, meanwhile, homogeneous bricks which are not easy to distinguish have distinguish-ability and are easy to distinguish on a masonry site, construction isconvenient, and masonry position errors are avoided.
