The invention relates to a construction method of a suspension type operating platform for an outer wall steel structure and a curtain wall of a high-rise building. The construction method is characterized in that a chassis platform is placed below a cantilever frame through hoisting; a suspension frame is erected between lifting lugs of the cantilever frame and a floor slab; and during construction, a constructor enters the chassis platform through a crawling ladder to construct the outer wall, after steel beams and brackets on the outer wall are welded, the constructor returns to the floor slab through the crawling ladder. The method is convenient to operate, manufacturing can be completed through idle peripheral materials on site, the hoisting process can be achieved through a tower crane, the integrity of the platform is good, people can get in and out of the platform only through the crawling ladder, bracket welding, antirust paint brushing and other operations of the arc-shaped steel beams can be completed on the platform, construction operation of an outer wall steel structure, a curtain wall keel and the like can be met through the cantilever frame, the suspension frame andthe chassis platform, the method is safe, controllable, time-saving and efficient, the utilization rate of peripheral materials is increased, the cost is reduced, and the problem that an arc-shaped outer wall is difficult to construct is solved.
