A preparation method of an ultrahigh-temperature corundum mullite ceramic product relates to the technical field of high-temperature ceramics and comprises aggregate, powder and a binding agent, wherein the aggregate and the powder are prepared according to the following weight ratio: the weight ratio of the aggregate to the powder is 55-65:35-45; the aggregate comprises corundum particles and mullite particles, and the weight ratio of the corundum particles to the mullite particles is 40-60:0-20; the powder comprises aluminum oxide powder, quartz powder and mullite powder, and the weight ratio of the aluminum oxide powder to the quartz powder to the mullite powder is 20-30:4-6:0-6; the binding agent is one or a combination of any two of alumina sol, acidic silica sol and organic silicon resin, and the addition amount of the binding agent is 6% of the total weight of the aggregate and the powder. According to the invention, high-purity raw materials, fine proportioning and high-temperature sintering are adopted to prepare the ceramic product with the use temperature of 1800 DEG C and excellent thermal shock stability.
