The invention belongs to the technical field of road piers, and particularly relates to road pier equipment with a buffering function and for municipal engineering. The equipment comprises a road pier, a first guide rail and a second guide rail; the second guide rail is mounted at the upper side of the first guide rail; and the road pier is arranged above the second guide rail. When the front faceof the road pier is impacted, the road pier moves forwards and backwards along the second guide rail to buffer the reaction impact force of the road pier on an automobile when the front face of the automobile impacts the road pier. When the side face of the road pier is impacted, the road pier and the second guide rail swing along the rotating shaft to buffer counteractive impact force of the road pier on an automobile when the road pier is impacted by the automobile, damage to the automobile is reduced, meanwhile, the road pier is protected, and the road pier can be repeatedly used; and meanwhile, a driver can be reminded through the warning rod when the automobile is impacted. When the designed road piers are used for carrying out activities, the road piers can be automatically adjustedto move to the two sides in order to facilitate passing of automobiles, and the width of the road surface between the road piers is increased.
