The material grabbing machine comprises a material grabbing machine body, a cab, a storage battery, a current collector, a power supply, a vehicle body controller, an inverter, a driver, a frequency converter and a motor, wherein the current collector is connected with 380V alternating current through a cable; the motor is connected with the current collector through the frequency converter; the power supply is connected with the current collector to convert the 380V alternating current into24V direct current; the vehicle body controller and the storage battery are connected with the power supply; the inverter is connected with the storage battery; and the driver is separately connectedwith the vehicle body controller, the inverter and the motor. According to the pure electric variable-frequency composite driven material grabbing machine, the problems of exhaust emission and productupgrading of a traditional diesel engine are solved, and a machine can be moved remotely.
