The invention discloses an ecological intersection interchange type roundabout which comprises a sinking roundabout, a first main road, a second main road, a third main road and a fourth main road which are all communicated with lanes on the outermost side of the sinking roundabout. Lanes of the first main road, the second main road, the third main road and the fourth main road, into one side of the sinking roundabout, are respectively communicated with other lanes of the sinking roundabout except the outermost lane through a first approach bridge, a second approach bridge, a third approach bridge and a fourth approach bridge respectively; according to the invention, the first approach bridge, the second approach bridge, the third approach bridge and the fourth approach bridge are arranged, vehicles going to other main roads except the main road adjacent to the main road in the anticlockwise direction can enter the sinking roundabout through the approach bridges, and gradually change lanes outwards in the sinking roundabout to the lane on the outermost side of the sinking roundabout; right turning is carried out at the intersection of the corresponding main road and the sinking roundabout, the sinking roundabout is driven out, all the driving directions cannot be crossed, interference is little, and the passing efficiency can be effectively improved.
