Sand discharging dam
The invention discloses a sand discharging dam. The sand discharging dam comprises a retaining dam and a sand removal flap gate, wherein the retaining dam comprises a dam body which is arranged on bedrock and a prefabricated buttress; the dam body comprises a base and quay walls which are arranged on two opposite sides of the base; the prefabricated buttress is arranged on the base and is locatedbetween the quay walls on two opposite sides; the sand removal flap gate comprises a gate which is installed on the prefabricated buttress and a driving system which is used for driving the gate to open and close; and the driving system comprises an original state which enables the gate to be in a closed state, an opening state which enables the top end of the gate to move away from the prefabricated buttress and enables the bottom end of the gate to move towards the prefabricated buttress so as to open the gate and a closing state which enables the top end of the gate to move towards the prefabricated buttress and enables the bottom end of the gate to move away from the prefabricated buttress so as to close the gate. According to the sand discharging dam, river sand can be effectively discharged, the reduction of the water storage capacity of river water due to sediment accumulation in front of the dam is avoided, and the water taking operation is greatly facilitated.
