The invention relates to the field of rainwater regulation and storage, in particular to a rainwater reservoir. The rainwater reservoir comprises a reservoir body, a water retaining layer, a reservoirfoundation, a water inlet pipeline and a water outlet pipeline, wherein the reservoir body is arranged in a foundation pit and is used for storing water, the water retaining layer is arranged on theperiphery of the reservoir body, the reservoir foundation is arranged at the bottom of the foundation pit, the water inlet pipeline communicates with the reservoir body, and the water outlet pipelinecommunicates with the reservoir; an earth surface covering layer is arranged on the upper side of the reservoir body, the reservoir body comprises a plurality of rectangular box body structures and connecting pieces which are used for connecting the adjacent rectangular box body structures, and a rectangular module is formed in a way that two water storage modules are spliced; the water storage module comprises a support plate and a plurality of connecting cylinders which are fixedly connected to the support plate, a plurality of water through holes are formed in the support plate, the connecting cylinders of every two adjacent water storage modules are fixedly connected in an inserted mode, and every two connected inserting cylinders communicate with each other; and a rainwater purification device is connected to the reservoir body, and the water outlet pipeline is connected with the rainwater purification device. The rainwater reservoir has the effects that the construction is convenient, and the construction efficiency is improved.
