The invention discloses an LED street lamp capable of providing a rain sheltering function, which comprises a support upright post, an access door, a lifting control button, a lifting rod, a lifting slide way, a cross rod, a top end controller, an expansion rain sheltering device, a control wire tube and an LED lamp, the access door is arranged below the front surface of the support upright post,the lifting control button is arranged above the right side of the access door, the lifting rod is connected to the top of the supporting stand column in a sliding mode, the two lifting sliding ways are formed in the two sides of the lifting rod respectively, the transverse rod is fixedly connected to the top of the lifting rod, the top end controller is installed at the top of the tail end of thetransverse rod, and the expansion rain sheltering device is installed at the top of the front end of the transverse rod. The LED street lamp is simple in structure and is rational in design. According to the street lamp, the structure of an existing street lamp is changed, the street lamp has the lifting function, meanwhile, top deformation can be conducted according to rainfall, the temporary rain sheltering function is provided for passersby, and convenience is provided for citizens while the daily lighting function is guaranteed.
