In order to reduce the depth of a column foot inserted into a foundation, the lower end of a web of asolid-web steel column is cut off, steel plates are welded to the two sides of a flange in the vertical direction, reinforcing ribs are welded between the steel plates, and first reinforcing plates are horizontally welded to the upper portions of the steel plates and fixedly welded to the steel web, the flange and the steel plates; the solid-web steel column is converted into two branches of a lattice type steel column; and two lattice type steel column cup openings are reserved in the concrete foundation, the two branches are inserted into the cup openings, and the internal force of the steel column is transmitted to the foundation through the branches of the lattice type steel column.
