The invention discloses a polishing process of linear texture vacuum stone, wherein the polishing process comprises the following steps: (1) mixing aggregate, unsaturated polyester resin, an auxiliarymaterial and water to obtain a mixed material; (2) rolling the mixed material to form a compact and flat surface; (3) after a coloring powder is spread and attached to the surface of the mixture, dispersing the mixture to prepare a blocky mixture, and carrying out material distribution and pressing to prepare vacuum stone with linear textures; and (4) polishing the surface and the edge of the vacuum stone through diamond water polishing pads with different particle sizes, then smearing with a waterproof agent, and then polishing with the diamond water polishing pads, wherein water needs to beadded at intervals in the polishing process. By means of the process, the polished vacuum stone is elegant in appearance, the yield is high, the number of process procedures is small, and the machining efficiency is high.
