The invention provides an automatic guardrail trolley control method, which belongs to a method special for erecting or assembling a bridge, and comprises the following steps of: width adjustment: adjusting the total length of a portal cross beam according to the construction design widths of guardrails on two sides, so that a template device is aligned to the construction design positions of the guardrails on the front view surface projection; vehicle positioning: moving a portal frame to enable the template device to be located at the expected construction position of the guardrails in the next period; template positioning: moving the template device through an electric control telescopic rod to align the lower end of the template device; mold closing: moving an action point of the template device through the electric control telescopic rod to enable the template device to form a guardrail design shape; pouring: specifically, casting concrete in place in a pouring area of the template device; and mold stripping. The full-automatic control over a full-electric-control guardrail trolley can be achieved, the requirement for field personnel is effectively lowered, and the unmanned operation is achieved; an automatic operation process is greatly conveniently arranged according to actual requirements, and the guardrail construction efficiency is greatly improved.
