The invention discloses a photosensitive automatic riverway duckweed collecting and cleaning device. The device comprises a cleaning device body, a cleaning belt, a driving roller, a driven roller, a rotating shaft and a control cabinet, wherein the cleaning belt is arranged on the cleaning device body; one end of the cleaning belt is connected with the driving roller, and the other end of the cleaning belt is connected with the driven roller; meanwhile, rotating shafts are connected to the middles of the driving roller and the driven roller; and the cleaning device body is located on one side of an intercepting net. According to the photosensitive automatic riverway duckweed collecting and cleaning device, the duckweed cleaning device is arranged at the intercepting net of a riverway according to the characteristic of intercepting duckweeds by the riverway, so that the duckweeds can be intercepted and cleaned; and the height of the cleaning belt can be adjusted regularly according to the height of the water surface, and meanwhile, interval cleaning can be conducted according to the number of the duckweeds, so that unnecessary energy consumption caused by continuous operation of the device when relatively few duckweeds are generated is avoided, and energy saving is facilitated.
