The invention discloses an energy dissipation and shock absorption structure and a damper displacement amplifying device. The damper displacement amplifying device comprises a first connecting body, a second connecting body and a damper which are arranged between a first construction body and a second construction body. The same side end parts of the second connecting body and the damper are used for being fixedly connected to the second construction body. The other end part of the damper is fixedly connected to one end of the first connecting body; the other end of the first connecting body is used for connecting with the first construction body; and the middle of the first connecting body is hinged to the second connecting body through a first pin shaft, and the distance between the first pin shaft and the first construction body is smaller than that between the first pin shaft and the damper. According to the damper displacement amplifying device, the first connecting body can amplify small relative displacement generated by the first construction body and the second construction body into large relative displacement and transmit the large relative displacement to the damper, so that the damper yields and deforms to consume vibration energy, the requirement for the displacement of the first construction body and the second construction body is lowered, and the safety of a building structure can be more sensitively and reliably guaranteed.

The invention discloses an energy dissipation and shock absorption structure and a damper displacement amplifying device.
