The invention discloses an improved aerated concrete block, which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 to 150 parts of siliceous material, 22 to 45 parts of cement, 20 to 40 parts of quick lime, 5 to 15 parts of desulfurized gypsum, 0.2 to 0.25 part of aluminum powder and 0.2 to 0.5 part of modified carbon nanotube. The modified carbon nanotube is prepared by the following steps: putting carbon nanotube powder into a closed container, introducing nitrogen, adjusting the flow and air pressure of the nitrogen, and carrying out microwave irradiation at the same time, so that gas in a cavity absorbs microwave energy and is excited to generate plasma; adding ultrasonic irradiation to make the ionized nitrogen atoms deeply doped into the surface and the internal structure of the carbon nanotube; and adding the obtained carbon nanotube into an acetic acid solution of chitosan, reacting for 6-8 hours at the temperature of 30-35 DEG C, and performing suction filtration, washing and drying to obtain the modified carbon nanotube material.
