The invention discloses a coastal constructed wetland ecological maintenance system and an ecological maintenance method. The system comprises a fish and shrimp ecological planting and breeding area, an artemia breeding and culture area and a bromine extraction and salt production area, the side surface of the fish and shrimp ecological planting and breeding area is provided with a water inlet channel for introducing seawater or brackish water into the fish and shrimp ecological planting and breeding area; a sedimentation and biological purification channel is arranged between the fish and shrimp ecological planting and breeding area and the artemia breeding and culture area and used for conveying organic high-concentration saline water containing fish and shrimp excrement in the fish and shrimp ecological planting and breeding area to the artemia breeding and culture area; a drainage channel is arranged between the artemia breeding and culture area and the bromine extraction and salt production area and is used for conveying high brine formed by evaporating the artemia breeding and culture area for a long time to the bromine extraction and salt production area; and waterfowl habitat islands are built in the fish and shrimp ecological planting and breeding area and the artemia breeding and culture area. According to the system and the method disclosed by the invention, wetland water system and food chain double-circulation ecological maintenance can be realized, so that abundant and safe wetland attributes and biological chains are guaranteed.
