The invention discloses a gypsum suspended ceiling waterproof device and a method for improving the local bearing strength of a gypsum suspended ceiling. The device comprises water guide pipes arranged at the two sides of the upper end of the gypsum suspended ceiling; the two ends of each water guide pipe are fixed to the gypsum suspended ceiling and connected and communicated with a rainwater pipe; an opening communicated with a water guide channel is formed in the top of each water guide pipe; a water guide plate is arranged at one sides of the upper ends of the two water guide pipes; the two ends of the water guide plate extend towards the openings of the water guide pipes respectively; step faces are formed at the two ends of the water guide pipes respectively; sliding rails distributed in the length direction of the water guide pipes are arranged on the side faces, right opposite to the step faces, of the water guide pipes respectively; sliding rods are arranged on the step faces right opposite to the sliding rails respectively; and the sliding rods are mounted in the sliding rails in a rolling mode. According to the gypsum suspended ceiling waterproof device and the method for improving the local bearing strength of the gypsum suspended ceiling, the purposes of waterproofing the top of a gypsum ceiling board and increasing the local bearing strength can be achieved by adopting a small number of structures, the structural design is reasonable, and later use is facilitated.
